The Flourloft in Anstruther is highly regarded for its comfortable accommodation, convenient location, and well-equipped facilities. Guests appreciate the proximity to local amenities and the harbour, as well as the property's suitability for families and pets. While some minor maintenance issues and the lack of sea views were noted, the overall experience is positive, with many expressing a desire to return.
Guests generally found the property to be clean and well-maintained, with only a few isolated comments about mattress stains and the need for additional cleaning supplies. The high standard of cleanliness contributes to the property's welcoming atmosphere.
The location is praised for its convenience to the harbour, local shops, and the Fife Coastal Path. The absence of a sea view is mentioned, but the property's proximity to desirable destinations offsets this minor drawback.
The property is consistently described as comfortable, with en-suite facilities and cosy living spaces. However, some guests noted that certain beds were less comfortable, suggesting room for improvement in this area.
Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and secure garden. Some maintenance issues such as light bulbs needing replacement, parking discrepancies, and concerns about safety features for children were raised, indicating a need for attention to detail.
While guests are pleased with the overall experience, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, a score cannot be provided for this category.
At this lovely coastal apartment in Fife, there are three bedrooms split over the first and second floors. The two second floor bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms, while the first floor double bedroom shares Jack-and-Jill access to the bathroom with the main open plan living accommodation. I could imagine that the lack of any view might feel a bit claistrophobic if you stay in a lot, but we were outside all day so it was nice and cosy. Great to have 3 en-suite bedrooms. Plenty of space for storage and hanging clothes. Garden area lovely to sit out in. A few small negatives - extractor fan in one en'suite bathroom didn't work, some beds comfortable, others less so (creaky springs), not enough loo roll for 6 people for 4 nights. Also i can't remember if tea bags were supposed to be included or not, but I think there were 4 bags, not nearly enough.

everything thing we needed was there. plenty of space. whilst the wifi was excellent the broadband was slow - not too much of a problem on a relaxing holiday but...
