About this property

This beautifully furnished, modern apartment is set over three floors within a detached chapel conversion, in the coastal village of Culross. On the shores of Forth, opposite Edinburgh, it is a fabulous choice for friends, families and couples exploring this wonderful region. 2 Cunninghame House is accessed through a shared hallway on the ground floor, with a cosy, but bright open plan living space immediately on your left hand side through double glazed doors. There is comfy seating, a Smart TV and breakfast bar, as well a compact yet well-equipped kitchen to meet all your culinary needs! Up on the first floor is one twin bedroom with flexible zip/link beds, along with a spacious bathroom with a separate bath and shower cubicle. You can enjoy a relaxing soak in the tub after a long, bracing walk along the Fife Coastal Path, or embrace the morning with an invigorating shower under the rainfall shower head. Up in the eaves is the second bedroom, with a great view from the window, over rooftops to the Forth. The pub and a selection of cafes are a short walk away in the heart of this lovely village, where you can also visit the Abbey, Palace and birthplace of St Mungo. For some wonderful days out and about, Culross also provides easy access to Fife, Stirling, Edin, Glasgow and Edinburgh, which can be reached in less than an hour over the Forth Road Bridge.

An excellent base for exploring this fabulous corner of Scotland.

The Royal Burgh of Culross is the birthplace of St Mungo, founder and patron saint of Glasgow. This lovely little village, with cobbled streets, is situated on the northern shores of the Firth of Forth making it perfect for walkers and cyclists exploring the Fife Coastal Path. There is a friendly pub, several cafes and wonderful attractions to explore, including Culross Palace in the centre of the village. With beautiful gardens and reconstructed period features, you can really get a feel for what life was like in the palace in the 17th and 18th Centuries. Overlooking the village is Culross Abbey and in nearby Dunfermline, you can explore the popular 76-acre Pittencrieffe Park, with its resident peacocks and beautiful Art Deco pavilion. With Stirling, Glasgow and Edinburgh all within easy reach, Culross is an excellent holiday destination!
