This very quaint cottage dates back to the 1870 s and was originally the flour shop for the Mill next door. The interior has been sympathetically modernised retaining many of its traditional features. The terraced rear garden runs up to a wooded hillside where there is a large summerhouse with balcony and picnic area. Situated in Low Valleyfield which is adjacent to the beautiful conservation village of Culross a step back in time with fascinating restored 17th and 18th century buildings including the National Trust Culross Palace dating from 1597. The popular Outlander series was filmed in the village in 2014. For walkers or cyclists the Fife coastal path passes the cottage and there are many fine woodland walks in the immediate area. There is an abundance of bird and wildlife locally. This location is ideal for accessing all the attractions of Dunfermline Edinburgh Stirling Perthshire and the East Neuk of Fife. Games/play facilities: the summerhouse has a children s slide.
