We enjoyed our visit and would book again. It is handy for Glasgow city and as a base for the surrounding area.

The staining on one of the mattresses, the provision of one saucepan, one milk pan and a frying pan did not seem adequate for a self catering property. Apparent lack of information on how to operate the television and central heating was frustrating. The waste on the hand basin in the bathroom requires attention. Some of the information in the folder was incorrect (the password for the Wi-Fi, the days that rubbish was collected and where to leave the rubbish bins was omitted). The lack of a tea towel. The cleanliness of the shower unit (Going rusty). Overall the standard of the property was not what we expected from the National Trust for Scotland

Welcome pack needs serious revamping. Out of date information neefs to be removed. If not for the very helpful staff in tne adjoining Holmwood House cafe we would have had no way of reporting the lack of electricity in the coach House. Extremely disappointing NTS, you need to lift your standards. In addition, the cleanliness of the tables and benchtops when we arrived was below a reasonable standard. As for the junk in the cupboards, good grief! Never again would we stay in this cottage.
