Located on the North West edge of the Cairngorms National Park, in the town of Aviemore, is this charming detached cottage, Burnside House. This property is wonderfully placed in the Scottish Highlands and is less than an hour's drive away from the bustling city of Inverness, a real hot spot for tourists and locals alike. Ideal for pet lovers as there's a dog kennel with the house, you can bring up to two well-behaved dogs with you to explore the natural beauty surrounding the property, particularly its close proximity to a nearby mountain stream. Hang your coats on the hooks by the front door and be welcomed into a spacious hallway, leading off towards a sitting area. Look forward to unwinding in the bright and airy living space with plush leather sofas for sinking into with a glass of wine in hand and benefitting from that essential woodburning stove adding to the homely effect of the space. Walk through to the open-plan kitchen/diner with all the necessary appliances needed to cook up some delicious meals, and the benefit of a dishwasher so you don't have to wash up yourself. Choose to gather at the dining table with your meals and break open a bottle of champagne to celebrate a wonderful holiday break. The first floor comes with the choice of a king-size, double and twin bedroom, each presenting a range of modern furnishings for storing your personal belongings. All bedrooms have their own TVs for those early morning shows without having to leave the comfort of the covers, and the master bedroom has its own en-suite shower room. The family bathroom benefits from an elegant bath and shower cubicle so you can choose how best to prepare for your day. From the living room, there are French doors which open out to a stunning enclosed garden, equipped with lawn and patio areas for dining alfresco during the summer months with the provided charcoal barbecue.     Comfy beds abd house was well stocked with everything we could need for our weeks stay. Would have been perfect if hot tub was still available.

    So well equipped. Comfortable and homely. Once settled we didn’t feel it was too big for the 2 of us and our dog however there is plenty room for bigger parties. Unusually there was no welcome pack. For the fee a small welcome pack would have been appreciated. We had a few small issues with cleanliness that we passed onto the cleaners after our holiday, however the issues did not impact our stay. Lovely secure garden for our dog. There is also a patio area with table and chairs. Fantastic forest walks from the door. Very quiet area which helped us to relax. We have been holidaying in Aviemore for nearly 20 years, we just love it. Great area with so much to see and do. We had such a great week and enjoyed what the house offered, we’re already booked up for next year.
