The lodge's proximity to Dornoch and scenic surroundings make it a sought-after retreat. While seating for larger groups could be improved, the overall experience is one of comfort and relaxation, with many eager to return.
Reviewers unanimously mention the spotless condition of the lodge, indicating a very high standard of cleanliness.
The lodge's peaceful setting and proximity to Dornoch and natural attractions are highly appreciated, suggesting an excellent location.
Comfort is well-regarded with mentions of a cosy atmosphere and large, comfortable beds, though seating for six adults is noted as slightly inadequate.
Facilities are praised, including the hot tub and well-equipped lodge. However, a minor note on the expectation of an open fire instead of a fire effect suggests a small area for improvement.
Guests appreciate the welcome gifts and attention to detail, though it is politely noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and not guaranteed.

Your property is one of the best we have stayed in. It really showed that you have thought of everything from a coffee machine to a hot tub, all these details added to our stay. We hope to return soon.

Only gripe was that it was listed as had an âopen fireâ but only had a fire affect fire in the lounge, needs clarification! A few recommendations would be hooks for dressing gowns towels by or close to hot tub, and a flat mob or a dustpan n brush other wise no complaints, beds large and comfortable. Location marvelous! Highlights were deer passing and star gazing in the hot tub. Definitely will re book

From the stag in the forest to the stars in the hot tub, a truly tranquil place. Well equipped, comfortable and wouldn't hesitate book again.
