Guests say

Pine Marten Lodge is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its beautiful setting and cleanliness. Guests enjoyed the hot tub, wildlife sightings, and the cosy fireplace. The lodge serves as a great base for exploring the surrounding areas, with many appreciating the thoughtful touches and well-equipped kitchen. While some guests noted issues with comfort and maintenance, these were not universal experiences.

The majority of guests found the lodge to be immaculately clean, with only a few isolated comments about specific cleanliness issues. These do not seem to represent the general guest experience.

The lodge is appreciated for its ideal location, offering tranquillity and proximity to wildlife and local attractions. Some guests noted road noise, but this did not detract significantly from the overall positive reception of the location.

Comfort received mixed reviews. While some guests found the beds uncomfortable and the living space smaller than expected, others had a comfortable stay. The varied experiences suggest that comfort may be subjective to individual preferences.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the hot tub and kitchen equipment. However, there were several mentions of maintenance issues such as problems with the dishwasher, lighting, and hot water, which suggests room for improvement.

While many reviews mention the lodge's well-stocked kitchen and the presence of a hot tub, there are no specific references to gifts or extra thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

Comfy beds, well equipped & in a great location. Really enjoyed the hot tub & watching the squirrels would definitely recommend others to stay here. Just a few niggles we had, there was no hot water in the shower, it set off warm & then would go cold. Tried to contact the person who emailed us the details but they were on annual leave & then tried another email & phone number & no one got back to us. The other thing there was 5 of us & only comfy seats for 4 people, so 1 of us had to sit on a kitchen chair to watch a film & the final thing was we would have liked the deck outside to be swept up tidy. It was full of twigs & pine needles. This didn't spoil our stay but just things to improve on as it isn't cheap to stay here for a week & the small things matter.
