Guests are consistently impressed with the apartment's stunning views, peaceful setting, and wildlife encounters. The property is praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and thoughtful touches, including a welcome basket. While some minor issues with facilities and ferry access are noted, the overall experience is highly regarded, making it a sought-after Highland retreat.
Reviewers frequently mention the property's pristine condition, indicating high standards of cleanliness. The repeated commendations for the apartment being spotlessly clean suggest that guests are very satisfied with this aspect.
The location is celebrated for its fabulous views and wildlife, contributing to a tranquil and picturesque setting. Some concerns about ferry access and travel times are noted, but these do not significantly detract from the overall appreciation for the location.

The facilities are generally well-received, with special mentions of the shower and balcony views. Some minor feedback on maintenance and equipment suggests room for improvement, but overall, the facilities meet guests' needs and expectations.
The welcome basket is frequently mentioned and appreciated, reflecting the owner's thoughtfulness. However, it is politely noted that such gifts, while a delightful surprise, may vary and are not guaranteed for every stay.
Ardgour 6 miles. The Apartment boasts an elevated position overlooking the bleak waters of Loch Linnhe, near the village of Ardgour on the Scottish mainland. With some of the country's most popular attractions within easy reach, this cosy bolthole is ideal for couples seeking adventure. Climb the external steps and up onto the decked terrace, and from here you can see as far as the Corran Ferry, on a crisp, clear morning. Inside you will be welcomed by an open-plan living room exuding a contemporary feel throughout with dual aspect windows streamed in natural light, enhancing the bright colour schemes and textures. Set within wooden frames, they complement the worktops and fixtures, almost reflected in the wood floors sweeping across the room, curl up on the L-shape sofa and listen to the gentle tapping of the rain on the skylight above you, while you enjoy a film together, whereas on a bright, summer's day, they flood the room with sunlight. A well-appointed kitchen sits in one corner of the room where you can rustle up delicious home-cooked meals during your stay, and from here you will come to the shower room displaying modern fixtures and an all-white finish. The double room is just as cosy as the sitting area, again with uplifting colours to brighten your mood, use the raised terrace for sitting out and enjoying the scenery before sipping on a mug of something hot, finishing the day nicely. Known as the gateway to the Ardnamurchan Peninsula, this peaceful village of Ardgour offers a wonderful base for you to walk, climb and explore, allowing an adventurous getaway for ramblers and nature lovers. Ardnamurchan Point Lighthouse is an extremely popular attraction in the area, found at the most westerly point on the mainland, and well worth a visit to delve into history. Fort William can be accessed by road or by ferry and hosts a variety of shops, and pubs as well as a plethora of walking opportunities, perfect for a day of shopping where you can stock up on essentials before tucking into a classic pub grub away from the kitchen. Britain's highest mountain, Ben Nevis, offers two main walking routes, and the Nevis Range attracts thrill seekers and ski enthusiasts from all over the country. This charming retreat is in an ideal location for discovering the awe and wonder of the West Highlands. EPC Rating: Band C

I would recommend this property and the location if your looking for a quiet retreat with amazing views of the snow topped mountains and wildlife life. During our stay we saw Otters, Seals, Eagles and Deer. No 2 days were the same.

However, 1 hand towel, 1 semi-bath & 1 bath towel are not enough for two people staying 7 nights. Nor is 1 dishwasher tablet. Similarly 1 bin bag when guests are asked to empty the bins & move the wheely bins midweek for emptying is not enough. We had to use the oven & microwave because the kitchen hob has a fault. The listing said the local shop was 6.9 miles away: the nearest local shop we could find (after asking the locals in the pub) was 14 miles away in Strontian. In summary, this is a lovely place to stay but its management needs to be improved to make it special.
