Guests say

Clearwater House is consistently praised for its stunning loch views, comfortable furnishings, and serene location. Guests enjoy the wildlife, private beach access, and the thoughtful touches like bird food. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is one of relaxation and natural beauty, making it a highly recommended stay.

Reviews frequently mention the property being very clean and well-kept, with only a single mention of a rusted toaster, which does not significantly detract from the overall high standards of cleanliness.

The location is universally lauded for its superb views, tranquillity, and proximity to beaches and wildlife. It serves as an excellent base for exploring the surrounding areas and islands.

Guests find the house comfortable, with tasteful decor and furnishings. Comfort is occasionally affected by issues with heating and hot water, but these are not widespread concerns.

The house is well-equipped and appreciated by guests, though some have suggested updates to the en-suite and better lighting. There are also mentions of a shower issue and the need for clearer TV instructions.

While guests appreciate the bird food and welcome package, there are not enough references to gifts or additional thoughtful gestures to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such extras, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

All is quiet and peaceful and you feel quiet alone, because the neighbouring houses can‘t be seen. The hall is properly equipped for walkers and you can store all your gear there

Woke up every morning to tremendous view of Lochailort . Great facilities on patio outside and house itself has everything you need as well as being extremely comfortable . Definitely one of the best properties I have stayed in

Must be our fourth time staying at Clearwater and it's always been a great experience. Fantastic views of Loch Ailort from the lovely lounge and just a short walk to its beaches/shore. Garden full of colourful shrubs and bushes at this time of year too. Plenty of really interesting wildlife as well. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.
