Sitting above the stunning rolling hills of Achmonie, near Drumnadrochit, Scotland, Glenview Lodge offers the most spectacular views across the Scottish countryside, with a traditional cottage feel to the beautiful wooden features across the white-painted countryside house. With an amazing sauna, stunning scenery and easy access to local attractions, this property is the perfect gateway for families or groups of adults, along with their four-legged friend. Enter into a world of opulence with this stunning property, where you will find all of the bedrooms on the ground floor and the living area on the first floor. Each with en-suite, the three bedrooms include storage and a view to the outdoors, starting with a king-size with en-suite shower room with marble-look tiles for a contemporary feel, with the bedroom walls painted to reflect the colours of the landscape and the distant mountains, a king-size with an en-suite bathroom, perfect for a relaxing soak amongst the bubbles after a long days hike, a twin filled with natural light and homely décor, sporting an en-suite wet room, and the hidden gem of the house; a sauna equipped with its own shower, an amazing touch to such a beautiful property and one guests are sure to love. The first-floor holds the living area of the house, and you will be delighted to find an amply fitted kitchen/diner with wonderful burgundy furnishings creating an eye-catching feature within the spacious kitchen area, as well as a glass dining table with seating for six, and you will love the social aspects of cooking here, with room for all of the family to try out some local recipes. Relaxation comes with the wonderful sitting room, warming you with a woodburning stove as you recline on the sofa, taking in the contemporary finish of the space with a grey feature wall, double doors opening on to the upstairs hall, and of course, the beautiful balcony with French windows, the perfect spot for a hot chocolate in the evening as you and your family point out constellations in the clear skies. Outside, a wonderful lawn space provides leisure for your pet, whilst you can enjoy a breakfast outside, with views of the hills and farmland surrounding the house. The local area has ample shops and restaurants, allowing you to stock up essentials in Drumnadrochit as well as trying out local produce in the cafes and bars, or enjoy one of your favourite drinks in the sun. The local area is simply teeming with different activities to try out, hikes along the great Glen Way, Munros to climb and mountain bike trails, as well as a visit to the stunning Urquhart Castle. Close to the property is Loch Ness, possibly the most famous of the Scottish Lochs, where you will find a variety of cruises. Close by is stunning Glen Affric and the newly opened Dundreggan Re-wilding Centre in Glen Moriston. The Great Glen Way, a 73 mile, long distance path running from Fort William to Inverness, passes through the village, while within easy reach are the historic ruins of Urquhart Castle.
