Guests say

Kerrowdown Mill is a well-received cottage in Inverness, praised for its modern amenities, cleanliness, and beautiful location. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, powerful shower, and cosy atmosphere. The property is ideal for exploring the local area, with some guests noting the thoughtful touches like local area leaflets and a warm welcome. While there are minor suggestions for improvement, such as better outdoor maintenance and a more stable toilet seat, the overall experience is highly regarded, making it a recommended stay for visitors.

The property is consistently described as clean and tidy, with only minor observations of cobwebs and a stained mattress protector. The high level of cleanliness contributes positively to the guests' experiences.

The cottage's location is praised for its beauty and proximity to the village and local points of interest. The views and accessibility to Loch Ness are particularly appreciated, making it an ideal base for exploration.

Guests find the cottage comfortable and homely, with ample storage and a powerful shower. However, suggestions for a larger bed and the mention of an uneven kitchen floor for those with mobility issues slightly affect the comfort score.

The facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and efficient heating system. However, the need for an outside light, a mat for an uneven kitchen floor, and attention to a 'mobile' toilet seat indicate room for maintenance improvements.

The reviews mention thoughtful touches such as cookies and milk on arrival and informative leaflets about the local area. However, as gifts are not consistently referenced across reviews, it is not possible to guarantee their provision for every stay.

It's very clean and tidy. This is my first experience in a house with an air-to-heat Heat Pump. I was very impressed, kept the house nice and warm with lots of hot water.

The cottage is absolutely lovely, cosy and so clean, that even a bit picky person like me loved it! ;) Really, I had an absolute pleasant stay and I thank the owner for the outstanding time. The cottage has everything you may need and the map with all informations round about the house and the environment was very funny and kindly written. Combined with the warmth welcome that was given with cookies and milk, you also feel absolutely welcome. You found everything you may need in a week like salt, sugar, tea, cleaning supplies, garbage bags, and many more. Thank you so much, I will defenitely return if it's possible! <3 Dinah
