Guests say

The Croft House receives high praise for its stunning location, cleanliness, and modern comforts. Guests appreciate the peaceful setting, spectacular views, and wildlife. The property is well-equipped, though some minor maintenance issues and additional kitchen items are suggested. The charm of the local area and the property's amenities contribute to a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The property is generally described as clean, with one review noting it was 'beautifully clean'. However, a single mention of mould in the shower room and dirty saucepans slightly lowers the score.

The location is consistently lauded for its beauty and tranquillity, with spectacular views and proximity to local attractions. It is a peaceful area that is appreciated by guests.

The property is considered comfortable, with modern appliances and space for relaxation. Some guests found the sofa uncomfortable, and there was a mention of hot water being insufficient, which affects the score.

Facilities are generally good, with modern amenities and fast broadband. However, there are comments about missing items like a chopping board, music player, and a heated airer, as well as minor maintenance issues like a missing pull cord and a non-functional iPad for heating control.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

The pull cord in the upstairs bathroom was missing so we had to use a nightlight during the night. We reported this to the agent but he was unable to get an electrician during our stay. The IPad which controlled the heating was also not working. We tried to put the used linen into bags when we left as requested but there weren’t any. Some of the saucepans were dirty which was unfortunate. The house was very clean and had everything we needed.

Waking up to water and wildlife views was exactly what we were looking for. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend!

It was beautiful and a perfect place to stay to feel like we experienced the Isle of Skye. It was well-stocked, which was good, as it was quite a ride into town… dodging sheep on the road is part of the charm! Thank you for sharing your place with us.
