Resting on the coast in Nairn, Nairnshire is this fabulous pet-friendly cottage, 62 Society Street. Ideal for a large family or group of eight, this charming extended cottage is just a short walk from Nairn Beach and enjoys plenty of sunshine, thanks to Nairn's micro-climate, whilst also being close to the Inverness Airport. After parking in the on-street space, soak in the sea breeze in the quaint front garden, before making your way inside the stone-built dwelling. Upon entering the property, venture left to be welcomed by the lovely living/dining room, a space hosting an electric fire, TV and ample seating for you to lounge on. Continue to the kitchen, where you can find a great range of appliances for your self-catering break; the chef of the group can fix up nourishing meals here, to be enjoyed at the table with all the family. After enjoying dinner together, throw any sandy clothes in the utility room's washing machine, before freshening up in the nearby cloakroom or shower room. There are four bedrooms within the property, the first two can be accessed via the left staircase, and these consist of a well-presented super king-size, and a twin. The other pair of bedrooms rest at the top of the right staircase, with the first one being a super king-size and the other being a twin. One of the bedrooms enjoys sea glimpses; all the rooms host power sockets with USB ports, so you can charge any devices you need during your stay. To the rear of the property, you can find a lovely courtyard, where you can rustle up grilled lunches on the barbecue, grab any bikes from the close-by outhouse to take out to the beach, or simply enjoy a captivating book in the sun. There are plenty of things to do in Nairn, with children's playgrounds resting by fantastic golf clubs, multiple beaches and an idyllic harbour nearby, along with the fantastic Nairn Museum with ample exhibits, including child-friendly displays; the town also boasts a train station, so you can visit other picturesque locations with ease. For a day out with a difference, embark on a short drive to Inverness, where the breathaking Inverness Castle, Dolphin Spirit Inverness, Crazy Golf and Inverness Botanic Gardens await; those looking to get back to nature will be especially pleased by the city's Ness Islands and the Merkinch Local Nature Reserve. A little further afield lies the 23-mile lake of Loch Ness, where a wealth of lakeside attractions can be found, from Urquhart Castle and the Loch Ness Centre & Exhibition to Loch Ness Beach and Invermoriston Falls; or you can try your hand at walking the renowned Loch Ness 360 Trail, an 80-mile route that begins in Inverness, but brings you around Loch Ness and takes you through its stunning scenery. The owner is super helpful and very thorough with letting you know what is what, and helpful in a crisis! The location is great, very close to the beach and easy to get into town. Beds are very comfortable and it really felt like a home from home for us all including our dogs. Thank you again we will be back

Close to Nairn Dunbar golf club so easily walkable, close to harbour and close to pubs and town centre. Owner was really helpful and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. Have booked again for next year!
