Situated in the atmospheric and quirky area of Fishertown, this charming semi-detached stone cottage is ideally situated within easy walking distance of both a sandy beach and local services. Nicely presented throughout with lots of space this cottage is ideal for a family group or group of friends who want to spend time together in this very popular coastal area of the Highlands. With roses growing around the front door the cottage has two lovely bedrooms,
a king-size double bedroom on the first floor which leads to a single room. The spacious sitting/dining room has a welcoming wood burning stove, whilst both the kitchen and bathroom are smartly designed and modern. The garden to the front has an array of pretty plants and bushes making it a fabulous place to enjoy a cup of coffee and a quiet read. Just a minute or two from the front door and you can be on Nairn's famous golden sandy beach which stretches for miles. Loch Ness, Culloden Battlefield and even the Malt Whisky Trail are all in close proximity and this lovely cottage will certainly ensure a wonderful holiday. EPC Rating: Band D
Nairn is an attractive and lively seaside town dating back to Victorian times. It has long been a popular holiday destination and is just 16 miles from the town of Inverness. Nairn even lays claim to being one of the driest and sunniest places in the country! The town offers some of the top beaches in Scotland and cleanest bathing waters in Britain. Also, one of the only two dolphin colonies in the UK is based in the Moray Firth. Nairn is steeped in history and is closely linked with the Battle of Culloden, whilst nearby Fort George is Europes best preserved 18th century military fortification.

The location enables easy access to the beach and the town centre, yet is in a very quiet area, so perfect for relaxing. We really enjoyed our stay. After a day exploring it was lovely to sit in front of the wood burner. There's a well maintained and spacious patio with outdoor furniture which would be nice in the summer. Hopefully we'll be back again soon!

The owners suggested solution was to put a sofa bed in the living room which was not acceptable to us as we would need to fold this away each morning and reset it at night. As a result we did not stay at the cottage. The property made no mention of the difficulty with the stairs for a person(s) with mobility problems. We are therefore financially out of pocket with no holiday. I would not recommend thus cottage.

Paul the host was a great communicator and provided the cottage with everything. The store cupboard with spices and herbs was great as was the amount of kitchen equipment and lovely crockery too. Iâve stayed in quite a lot of cottages and Airbnb but this has been my favourite. Both my husband and daughter loved it too and we will definitely be going back.
