Guests say

Fronthill is a well-loved cottage in the Northern Highlands, praised for its stunning views, peaceful setting, and excellent location for exploring the Cairngorms. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings, and the homely feel. The property's garden and walks from the doorstep are highlights, making it a favourite for repeat visits.

Most guests found the cottage to be clean and tidy, with a few noting areas where cleanliness could be improved, such as dusty bedheads and windows, and some hair on the carpet. Overall, the property is maintained to a good standard of cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for its incredible views, peacefulness, and proximity to local attractions and walks. The challenging access road is noted, but it does not significantly detract from the overall positive reception of the location.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with a homely atmosphere and cosy furnishings. Some guests suggest that certain items, such as the bed and shower, could be updated for enhanced comfort.

The property is well-equipped, particularly the kitchen, and provides a good range of facilities. However, some guests mention that maintenance could be improved, with suggestions for updates to the shower and the addition of cushions for the sofas.

While guests have mentioned receiving wine and goodies, which indicates thoughtfulness, there is not enough consistent information across reviews to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gifts are appreciated but not guaranteed.

Loved the cottage, very spacious and at home feel. Everything was great. Only point to add would be that the drive leading to to the property could Do with widening, don’t get me wrong I have an BMW x5 but it was tight. But don’t let this put you off. If I ever travel to Scotland again I would see if fronthill was available again. Great location, very quiet and cosy.
