A superior Victorian-styled villa, privately located in the desirable village of Newtonmore in the fabulous Cairngorms National Park. Built of local stone over a century ago, this large and welcoming Cairngorms cottage has elevated views to the surrounding mountains and yet is within easy reach of the village facilities. With so much space and most rooms with their own en-suite facilities, this Cairngorms villa is ideal for a large family group or a group of outdoor enthusiasts who want to embrace the fabulous outdoor activities on offer in the area. The flexible accommodation ensures plenty of relaxation space for guests. The lovely sun room at the front is a perfect place for enjoying a morning coffee while appreciating the views and the formal sitting room is a sociable place to gather for a chat at the end of a busy day. The kitchen in this Cairngorms cottage is very well-equipped and leads through to the impressive dining room, which seats 19 and provides a great place for a lively dinner with friends and family. Outside there is an acre of garden, with a fully-enclosed, child-friendly, rear garden and a terraced front garden with private seating areas. The friendly village of Newtonmore offers good local services and shops and if you fancy a spot of golf you are just two minutes walk away from the clubhouse. The Cairngorms National Park offers so much in terms of outdoor pursuits and sight-seeing at all times of the year. If you are tempted to climb a few Munros then Alvey House is within one hours drive of over 50 Munros and just 30 minutes away is the CairnGorm Mountain, a skiers paradise. If you prefer some wildlife watching then Insh Marshes is one of the most important wetlands in Europe and ospreys, hen harriers and many more birds can be regularly seen.
