Guests appreciate the comfortable beds, modern decor, and the warm, helpful nature of the host, Louise. The area offers beautiful scenery and is ideal for family holidays, with many mentioning a relaxing and enjoyable stay. While most feedback is positive, a few guests noted the lack of certain amenities and provisions upon arrival.

The location is frequently highlighted as excellent, with the cottage being just a short walk from the beach and close to local amenities. The scenic surroundings and proximity to Cullen beach are particularly appreciated.
Comfort is a strong point for Eider Cottage, with numerous guests praising the comfy beds and cosy atmosphere. The property is described as warm and inviting, contributing to a relaxing stay.
Facilities are generally well-received, with mentions of a great shower, well-stocked kitchen, and tasteful decor. However, some guests noted the absence of a microwave, washing machine, and certain provisions, which slightly lowers the score.
Many reviews express gratitude for the thoughtful touches provided by the host, such as welcome baskets and local advice. While these gestures are appreciated, it is noted that such gifts are a kind bonus and not a guaranteed feature of every stay.

Cullen Bay, an inlet of the Moray Firth, is located in the Moray coastal town of Cullen, which was originally formed at the mouth of the Burn of Deskford. An 'inland' area from Seatown extends along one of Cullen's busiest thoroughfares and beneath a stunning viaduct, making up modern Cullen. A thick, creamy haddock soup called Cullen Skink is named after Cullen, despite the town's prosperity being based on textiles in the 18th-century. Elgin, Scotland's oldest city, is a short drive away from Cullen, which has a magnificent sandy beach and the famed Ice Cream Shop that many consider to be the best ice cream parlour in the country.
