Holly Hoose is a well-received cottage in Buckie, praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and comfort. Guests appreciate the peaceful location, proximity to beaches and local amenities, and the enclosed garden for pets. The property is described as a home from home, with a warm atmosphere and ample space for relaxation and exploration of the scenic Moray Firth.
Guests consistently mention the property being clean and tidy, indicating high standards of cleanliness. A few minor instances of cobwebs do not detract significantly from the overall positive feedback.
The location is frequently praised for its quietness, proximity to the beach, and local walks. It is considered a great base for exploring the Moray Firth, although some guests note limited activities for children.
Numerous reviews highlight the comfort of the beds and the cosy atmosphere of the cottage. The spaciousness and warmth of the property contribute to the overall comfort experienced by guests.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and good wifi. Some guests suggest minor updates and additions, such as new pans and sharper knives, but these do not significantly impact the positive perception of the facilities.
While some guests mention a welcome pack would have been appreciated, there is not enough consistent information about gifts or additional thoughtful touches provided by the host to accurately score this category.

This cottage will ensure an unforgettable holiday for everyone. EPC Rating: Band D
The fishing village of Findochty sits on the edge of the natural harbour known as Crooked Haven. Findochty is used more by leisure sailors than fisherman, whilst the fishing boats have moved down the coast to Buckie. Findochty has a small sheltered beach at Long Head and a pub on the harbour front. With the Moray Coast to explore, with its Whisky Trail, abundance of historic houses and gardens, sparkling golden sands and hospitable inns, this is a superb base from which to enjoy the delightful north east coast of Scotland.

It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Lots to see and do locally. We were fortunate with the weather and amazing sunsets watched from the top of the village and the coastal path.
