Guests say

Seaspray Cottage in Buckie is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and thoughtful touches, including a welcome basket. Its proximity to the sea and local amenities makes it a desirable location. While some minor issues with facilities and garden enclosure are noted, the overall experience is positive, with guests enjoying the peaceful setting and friendly neighbours.

Guests consistently report the cottage to be in immaculate condition upon arrival, with several reviews highlighting its spotlessness. The high level of cleanliness contributes significantly to the comfort and enjoyment of their stay.

The cottage's location is frequently commended for being close to the sea and within easy reach of local attractions. The peaceful setting and the sound of the sea add to the charm, although some guests noted limited mobile reception.

The cottage is described as cosy, warm, and comfortable, with good-sized rooms and modern furnishings. However, a few guests mentioned issues such as an uncomfortable bed and poor shower pressure, slightly affecting the overall comfort score.

Facilities are generally well-received, with the cottage being well-equipped and offering a generous welcome pack. Some guests suggested minor improvements, such as better parking, ice-making facilities, and a more secure garden for pets.

The welcome basket and doggy snacks are frequently mentioned and appreciated, indicating a high level of thoughtfulness from the hosts. However, as gifts are subject to change and not guaranteed, guests should consider this a delightful bonus rather than an expectation.

A comprehensive confirmation was sent to us including several details from the owners. Details of location, parking and key pickups was also provided making the arrival at the cottage very straightforward. The cottage itself was immaculate and the welcome basket was indeed very welcoming! It even included treats for our dogs! Beds were comfortable and warm with lots of wardrobe and drawer space if required. Kitchen and bathroom were both spotless and had plenty of storage. Our only niggle was the shower. The pressure was very poor and we both had to use it as a hand spray. The temperature was good though and I don’t know if perhaps we didn’t use it properly. Would suggest perhaps that it is checked out anyway. I have chosen not to mark the cottage down because of the shower though because in every other way it was perfect and I highly recommend. Thank you very much ❤️

Helpful owners and good directions to property . We thoroughly enjoyed exploring this area from Buckie and its proximity to the many historic fishing villages .

Very clean and well equipped. As others have commented neighbours are very friendly and cottage just about 50 yards from the promenade at the sea. Yardie conservation area is close to Buckie’s shopping amenities and only 10-12 minutes walk to a fast EV charging facility. Only minor critisms, namely only 1 toilet roll in property on arrival and salt/ pepper grinders were empty but otherwise all good and bed very comfortable.
