Guests say

Grace Cottage in Buckie receives high praise for its comfort, cleanliness, and location. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and the property's proximity to local amenities and scenic walks. The cottage's charm and the owner's responsiveness to issues contribute to a pleasant stay, despite minor maintenance concerns from a few reviewers.

The majority of guests report the cottage as spotlessly clean, with only one mention of a cleanliness issue. The consistent emphasis on cleanliness in the reviews suggests a high standard maintained by the owners.

The location is frequently praised for its convenience to local shops, scenic harbour walks, and nearby beaches. The village's charm and the ease of exploring the Moray Coast from this base contribute to a high location score.

Comfort is a standout feature, with numerous guests highlighting the comfortable beds, cosy living spaces, and well-furnished rooms. A few guests mentioned light issues in the bedrooms, slightly affecting the score.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the kitchen appliances and bathroom. However, some guests noted dated aspects and minor maintenance issues, such as window operation and a need for blackout blinds, which slightly lower the score.

While the reviews reflect a well-stocked and equipped cottage, there are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches provided by the owners. Therefore, a score cannot be given for thoughtfulness based on the available information.

Beautiful cottage, lovely location, it's very quiet and relaxing. All rooms are superb, quality of furnishings are top class, kitchen well equipped, downstairs loo which is a bonus. Bedrooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. Separate shower and bath is great. We love this cottage and fell it's home from home. Well worth a visit. 5* accommodation!

Portknockie is an ideal location. I doubt we travelled more than 15 miles in either direction along the coast but everyday had a majir highlight. A most enjoyable holiday made even better by comfortable accomodation.

This is my third visit to Grace Cottage, it is the perfect base for visiting the surrounding area. The cottage is well equipped, and the new cooker is very easy to use. Already looking forward to my next visit.
