Most guests find the cottage spotlessly clean and well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable stay. However, a few guests have raised concerns about cleanliness, which slightly affects the overall high standard noted by others.

The cottage's location is highly regarded for its peaceful setting and convenience for exploring Speyside, the Moray Coast, and local amenities in Aberlour. Its proximity to walking trails and scenic areas is a recurring positive aspect.

Guests generally find the cottage comfortable, with a warm and cosy atmosphere. Some guests mention the beds being on the hard side or the property feeling cramped, which suggests room for improvement in this category.

The property is well-equipped, with most guests satisfied with the facilities provided. However, there are suggestions for improvements such as better heating instructions and an enclosed garden for dogs. The presence of a wet room is a notable feature.

While many guests mention and appreciate the welcome gestures of shortbread and beverages, as these gifts are not consistently referenced across all reviews, it cannot be guaranteed that such thoughtfulness is a standard practice for every stay.
