Forres 6.3 miles. Lying in the beautiful rural area of Rafford in Moray, Scotland is this spectacular brand new eco-build, Na Clamhanan. Clad in Scottish larch and roofed in slate, Na Clamhanan has been built with all natural materials throughout. This timber structure blends wonderfully with its surroundings, set in a sunny site within 2 acres of young mixed woodland, you will be deep within a world full of wildlife, with frequent sightings from the house of buzzards, deer, owls, and hares to name a few. This light, bright, warm house has oak and heated slate floors throughout and an open-plan living space where you can enjoy quality time with your party. The fully fitted kitchen and the large dining table lend themselves to social occasions or alternatively simply relax on the balcony or in front of the Smart TV surrounded by simple minimalist decor. The ground floor bedroom with south facing picture window, is perfect for those less able, and home to a king-size zip/link bed and a chair bed, and adjacent to a fully-accessible wet room. The handy utility room contains modern washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. Upstairs enjoy the full height vaulted lounge with large windows and balcony adding to the breath-taking expanse and use of space, with a woodburning stove adding a homely atmosphere. Sofas, beanbags and Smart TV ensure indoor relaxation and the lounge leads out onto a large west facing balcony, perfect for an evening glass of wine or dinner. The study area of the living space is lit by overhead Vellux windows and equipped with desk and shelving suitable for writing or working.
