Alyth 4 miles. This superb farmhouse style property sits on the 60 acres hill farm of Wester Derry in the popular area of Glenisla close to Glenshee Ski Centre, ideal for skiing and snowboarding. Boasting a Green Tourism Gold Award, the property provides outstanding accommodation for nine guests wishing to enjoy this idyllic area of Scotland. On the ground floor there is an excellent kitchen that is fully equipped with everything you will need to create a delicious meal after a day exploring the mountains. Afterwards kick back and relax together in front of the TV, warming up with the heat of the wood burning stove during the evening. The spacious open plan living room and dining area is light filled with views overlooking the garden. The property sleeps nine in five comfortable bedrooms with a master en-suite and dressing room, twin room, double and bunk bed room to the first floor, and down the hallway is a modern family bathroom with bath and shower. Downstairs there is also a single bedroom and level access wet room. Outside you will find an extensive enclosed garden area and an on site shared games barn. Here there is plenty of inside actives to enjoy throughout your stay including a 16ft trampoline with safety net, table tennis, darts, a selection of children's ride on toys and pool. Located just four miles from the town of Alyth, you will be able to find all the necessary amenities during your holiday. Situated nearby Glenshee, the property is the perfect base to enjoy the UK’s most extensive skiing and snowboarding facilities. Holly House is an ideal holiday home for a large family or group of nine to enjoy everything this rugged Scottish countryside has to offer. Alyth has an array of shops, bars and cafés. It is close to Blairgowrie, Kirriemuir and Dunkeld and the coast at Arbroath is easily reachable. Ideal for exploring the great outdoors, Alyth is ideal for walkers, cyclists, golfers and anglers as well as skiers.

The owner of Holly House has made us aware the new check in time will be 5pm for the foreseeable future, this is to create more time in between bookings to clean and sanitize the property.

The owner has requested that guests bring their own towels (duvets, mattress and pillow protectors will be provided) the owner feels this is the safest route to take given the current situation.

    The house and garden are lovely and comfortably and met all our needs. There's a lovely outlook from the house of the surrounding farm land and countryside. The barn was great for all the family with games to suit everyone. We had a great holiday.

    The kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of boxed games for the family to enjoy in the evening. The games barn was a real asset for young and old to use. The owners were friendly and informative and quick to help and answer all our queries fully. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property for a family holiday and hopefully, one day, we will return!
