Guests say

Guests have had delightful stays at the Rowan Lodge, consistently praising its cleanliness, stunning views, and the presence of thoughtful touches such as a welcome pack. The lodge is well-equipped and dog-friendly, with many mentioning the convenience of nearby walks and the beauty of the surrounding area. Some minor suggestions for improvements were made, but overall, the experiences were very positive, with many looking forward to returning.

Reviewers frequently highlighted the immaculate condition of the lodge, with multiple mentions of its spotless cleanliness. This suggests a very high standard maintained by the property.

The location is celebrated for its stunning views and proximity to nature walks, although there were some comments about ongoing construction and excavation. The scenic beauty seems to outweigh the temporary disturbances.

Comfort is highly rated, with guests finding the lodge cosy and well-heated. Suggestions for additional outdoor seating and a child gate for safety were made, but overall, the lodge provided a comfortable stay.

Facilities are generally well-received, with the lodge being described as well-equipped. However, there were minor issues such as the absence of a can opener, a lamp, and a mop, and some found the kitchen storage overly full. Maintenance issues were promptly addressed by the owner.

The welcome pack was mentioned positively in several reviews, indicating a level of thoughtfulness. While such gifts are appreciated, it's important to note that they are a kind gesture and may not be a standard offering for every stay.

The welcome basket was a lovely surprise. It has everything you need for a relaxing break. We stayed for 3 nights with our dog and there were some great walks with amazing views! I would definitely recommend and would love to come back! Very relaxing and chilled!

Not quite as close to the loch as I’d thought. Facilities are great and everything you need (although we couldn’t find a pizza cutter) but that’s a minor thing. The what3words in the booking reference isn’t correct, it takes you to Manse Lane so needs to be corrected. Location for Comrie and Crieff is great and further afield if you want, or equally ideal for simply relaxing looking at the view.
