Branklyn Garden Cottage is highly praised for its picturesque setting, cleanliness, and the warm welcome provided by hosts. Guests enjoy the beautiful gardens, comfortable beds, and the cosy atmosphere, especially the log burner. The location is convenient for exploring Perth and the surrounding areas. Some guests find the living space snug and the kitchen small, but the charm of the cottage and the garden seems to compensate for these minor issues.
Guests consistently note the cottage's cleanliness, with several reviews highlighting its immaculate condition upon arrival. The property is well-maintained, contributing to a pleasant stay.
The cottage's location is frequently commended for its convenience and proximity to Perth, as well as the tranquillity offered by the surrounding National Trust garden. Its central position allows for easy day trips and access to local amenities.
Comfort is a strong point, with guests mentioning very comfortable beds and a cosy atmosphere. The log burner is a particular highlight, although some guests mention the property can be a bit cramped for larger groups.
Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and powerful shower. However, some guests note the kitchen is small and the dining setup can be impractical. The lack of a washing machine and some issues with the oven are noted.
Guests appreciate the welcome tray and dog biscuits, indicating a level of thoughtfulness. However, as these gifts are not mentioned by all reviewers, it is politely noted that such gestures, while appreciated, may not be guaranteed for every stay.

Really good to be sited within the lovely gardens of this National Trust property. The house was clean and functional and had most things that we needed. It's best suited to a couple of adults as the living room/kitchen is quite small. That said, we had a good stay, and its proximity to the great town of Perth is excellent.

The property has been furnished sympathetically to an older era. Good internet, friendly staff on the grounds, very comfortable beds. The property is extremely small downstairs. Fine for a young family, possibly, but there really is no room for the fold out table. Itâs not a place for a lie in - the gardeners start about 7am and used motorised equipment. Itâs my fault for not checking, but there is no washing machine, which is very unusual for holiday lets.

Upstairs main bedroom lovely but you are naughty to describe the bed as super king as it isnât. It is two singles next to each other which as any loving couple will tell you is not the same thing at all. However they were comfortable. But I would suggest that you correct this description. Downstairs space is small and very difficult to find somewhere to open up the dinning (sic) table. Overall we had a good stay on the cottage and the areas around Perth are gorgeous at this time of year. It cost quite a bit more than the previous week at North Mains cottage and was not as good. With kind wishes and hope this is useful honest feedback, Nick
