This lovely, semi-detached stone cottage is situated in the village of Chirnside near Duns and Berwick-upon-Tweed in the Scottish Borders. This charming cottage is ideal for a couple or small family with a pub just down the road and many places to visit nearby. Once inside you will find a charming sitting room with an open fire, where cosy nights in can be enjoyed after a day out and about exploring the area. The kitchen/diner has a door leading out to the small rear patio garden, an ideal place to relax on a summer's evening. The ground floor also includes a twin bedroom which has a feature fireplace. Upstairs, there is a double bedroom, along with a bathroom with a bath and shower over. Chirnside overlooks the River Whiteadder and has views across the magnificent Cheviot and Lammermuir Hills and offers shops, pubs, a pharmacy and a church. The coastal town of Berwick-upon-Tweed is only nine miles away and has quaint, narrow streets within Elizabethan walls, and further shops and pubs. There are a number of activities that are available in the area, including golf, fishing and walks, and there’s many other attractions both in the Scottish Borders and Northumberland.
