Guests say

Guests generally enjoyed their stay at the cottage, praising its cleanliness, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds. The property's quiet location is appreciated, with proximity to beaches and local amenities. Some guests noted issues with sofa comfort and outdoor furniture, but the overall experience was positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

The cottage received high praise for its cleanliness, with multiple reviews highlighting it as spotless. This suggests that the property is well-maintained and clean, which is a significant factor for guests.

The location is frequently described as quiet and beautiful, with easy access to beaches and local attractions. The property's setting in a peaceful village adds to the appeal, making it a great base for exploring the area.

While the beds were noted as comfortable, several guests found the sofas and seating to be less so. This recurring theme suggests that while the property is generally comfortable, there is room for improvement in the living area seating.

The property is well-equipped, especially the kitchen, and guests appreciated the wood burner and garden. However, comments about the need for better lighting, uncomfortable garden furniture, and the desire for a grab rail in the shower indicate some areas could benefit from attention.

Guests mentioned a welcome hamper and items for beach activities, indicating the owner's thoughtfulness. However, as these gifts may vary and are not guaranteed for every stay, they should be considered a delightful bonus rather than an expectation.

We had a great time. Having the stove was an added bonus even in summertime given this year’s interesting weather!

Set in a lovely, quiet location with a shop and a pub. The beach was a short walk away with access to water activities and coastal walks. There is easy access to towns and historic places of interest. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing break away from it all, yet still within reach of towns and amenities.
