We have stayed in many cottages over the years and this one certainly topped the bill. Perfectly immaculate. We were a wee bit concerned about the 'phone call we received whilst driving home informing us that there was a pillow case missing ??? We could not understand this at at all.

The bed was so comfortable _ I just can't speak highly enough of the whole set up. The only downside for me was that the bathroom was downstairs but that is because I am old and the bathroom is my friend during the night....lol. Lauder is a lovely little village - well set for using as a base to travel around the borders. We went literally everywhere - from the Rosslyn Chapel to Edinburgh to The Kelpies to The Forth Bridges and everywhere in between. I would highly recommend Wyndhead Cottage to anyone - hopefully one day we will be back.

It is situated in an ideal location and is a real home from home. It is spotlessly clean and has everything you need. Thank you for the welcome gifts on our arrival. Great food at the Black Bull Inn. We used all the local shops which are great. Everyone was so friendly.
