Townhead Steading is located on the edge of the conservation village of Minto, just north of the River Teviot and midway between the towns of Hawick, Jedburgh and Melrose. Set within the rolling borders countryside there is an abundance of walking and cycling opportunities from the door.
The cottages enjoy grounds and gardens of almost an acre and have beautiful uninterrupted views from every direction. Within a short walk from the cottages is a pretty glen and castle, and for the golf lovers there is an 18 hole golf course and restaurant. A further 15 minute walk brings you to the village of Denholm with 2 pubs and a restaurant. The historic city of Edinburgh is only an hour’s drive away.
The cottages have been converted from the original stone steadings and now provide 4* accommodation, perfect for couples and those with young children looking for a relaxing peaceful break away at any time of year.
