Guests have had a largely positive experience at the cottage, praising its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and convenient location. The property is well-equipped, providing a cosy and warm atmosphere. The town of Peebles, with its shops and outdoor activities, is within easy walking distance. While there are minor suggestions for improvement, the overall sentiment is that the property is a great base for exploring the Scottish Borders.
The property consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests describing it as spotless and well-maintained. One isolated mention of an odour issue in the kitchen suggests a minor deduction, but overall, the cleanliness is highly regarded.
The location is frequently commended for its proximity to the town centre, shops, and outdoor activities. The ease of accessing Edinburgh and the peaceful neighbourhood add to the appeal. Parking is mentioned as convenient, despite being roadside.
Comfort is highlighted with mentions of comfortable beds and a warm, homely feel. Some guests noted the furniture could be better suited for elderly visitors, and there were minor suggestions for interior arrangement, leading to a slightly reduced score.
Facilities are generally well-received, with the property described as well-equipped and spacious. However, there are comments about the desire for more privacy at the back for sitting out, and some minor niggles like the need for better blinds and towel quality.
While the reviews reflect a positive experience, there is no specific mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate a level of thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, a score cannot be provided in this category.

The property is located a 10 minute walk from the centre of Peebles, with enough shops, pubs and eating establishments to satisfy anyone's needs. Tesco is a 4 minute walk away and while not a superstore as indicated on Google it is well stocked. There is also a Sainsbury's near by however we didn't visit it. The owner provides a selection of reference books about Peebles and the area. There are walks from your door along the River Tweed and the surrounding area. Parking is fine outside the property. Overall this is a great property and we'll definitely be back.

Close to all Peebles had to offer. It is a lovely wee town. Altough it is kerbside parking outside the flat we never had trouble finding a space outside. Loads to see and do in the area. Would definitely recoomend.
