This is a well-presented semi-detached house set on the outskirts of the village of Walkerburn in the Scottish Borders. This cottage is perfect for families with the sleeping arrangements and en-suite bedrooms. Step up into this bright and airy cottage and be greeted by a modern hallway. The hallway leads you to the living areas, with a stylish, well-equipped kitchen and a simple yet tastefully decorated dining room. The sitting room is a great spot to sit and relax with its comfortable seating, woodburning stove and a TV, the perfect room for some quality family time. Sit in the suntrap conservatory with your morning coffee and plan the days' activities. The ground floor is complete with a stunning king size bedroom, boasting a classy en-suite shower room. The first floor presents two more similarly decorated bedrooms, one of them being a double with a single leading off it, perfect for a family with a young child. All of the bedrooms have en-suite facilities. To the front of the house there is a large, enclosed courtyard with a picnic bench, perfect for bringing your dog to have a run around whilst you chill with a cold drink. The centre of Walkerburn is a short distance away, providing the essentials of a pub and a shop. For varied amenities, visit nearby Galashiels which also has a park and a swimming pool. The capital, Edinburgh is within driving distance and is certainly worth visiting with its incredible buildings and shopping. East Lodge is a delightful cottage in an excellent rural location. A village in the Scottish Borders area. It is a base for a relaxing break with its remote location. Walkerburn is flanked by the River Tweed and boasts a shop, pub and a coffee shop. It is an incredibly historic village, it was involved in both World Wars, producing tartan and flannel for the army whilst the younger men went to battle. Visit Peebles and Galahiels, both are short drives away with shops, restaurants and pubs to choose from. Further afield is Edinburgh, it provides beautiful buildings, great shopping opportunities and many things to do.

The cottage itself is extremely well kept and clean . This is the 3rd time weâve stayed here which I suppose says it all . The owners are amazing friendly hosts. Canât find fault. Highly recommend
