We have a shared love for the surroundings and wider environment, and can help with some local knowledge of walks and activities for all ages.

The family came up to live here, in the lovely Scottish Borders, in 2020, in order to pursue our dream of self sufficiency, helping the environment and rewilding. Here at the Whim, within the old walled garden of Whim Hall, we've created three glamping pods, to enable you to share our love for nature and the beautiful local scenery.

The lovely Scottish Borders are a stone's throw from Edinburgh. Home of authors such as Sir Walter Scott and John Buchan, the region also has the Great Polish Map of Scotland and many venerable old homes and ruins.
