Guests say

Guests are enamoured with North Light Studio, praising its stunning views, cleanliness, and the warm welcome from hosts. The property's location is ideal for exploring the Outer Hebrides, and the presence of wildlife adds to the charm. The thoughtful touches, such as local gifts and a sauna, enhance the experience, although these gifts are kindly provided and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

Reviews consistently mention the immaculate condition of the studio, indicating high standards of cleanliness.

The property's location is highly praised for its tranquillity, beautiful views, and proximity to local attractions, making it an excellent base for exploration.

The majority of guests find the studio very comfortable, with a particularly comfortable bed and cosy atmosphere, though one review suggests the mezzanine can be too warm and the lounge chairs uncomfortable.

Facilities such as the well-equipped kitchen, sauna, and good hot water supply are appreciated. However, suggestions for additional storage and outdoor drying options indicate room for improvement.

Guests feel well cared for with the provision of local gifts and amenities, although it's important to note that such personal touches, while delightful, are not guaranteed for every stay.

It was in an ideal location for us, right on the loch. Be aware there is no access to the loch from the property. There are a lot of good aspects to the cabin but nothing to add to what is in the description, therefore, I will focus on aspects that might be useful for future guests: It is a very warm building with few options to ventilate, especially when the midges are around. Cooking was simple with the hob and multi-purpose oven. The cabin is comfortable but not particularly relaxing. The 2 single sofa bed chairs are okay but not ideal for lounging on and although the bed is very comfortable, the thought of climbing down the ladder in the middle of the night for the toilet meant I didn't sleep as well as I could have done. I recommend taking binoculars to check-out the wildlife on and over the loch. Overall, a comfortable place to stay with everything you need

The location by the loch was perfect and fabulous that this was our view from the mezzanine bed each morning. The design was contemporary and well laid out and the sauna was a clever touch. Due to the structure of the studio, it was also very quiet, considering it was windy. Thank you for helping to make our holiday memorable and for the small bottles of gin…. We bought a large one!!

It is such a well thought out and fun place to stay, with a beautiful view over the loch where we enjoyed a couple of amazing sunsets sitting out the front of the property. The small sauna at the back of the bathroom is a great little touch!
