About this property

Sitting on the outskirts of Llanfaelog in Anglesey (Ynys Môn) is this six-bedroom, detached annexe, Ty Ni Annex. Ideal for a group of friends looking for outdoor adventures, this pet-friendly accommodation offers sea views, plenty of off-road parking, and easy access to the beach. You'll be immediately welcomed by a spacious sitting room, perfect for kicking back after busy days, with leather seating and a wall-mounted Smart TV for evening entertainment. Just next door is the well-equipped kitchen/diner where the designated chef can rustle up hearty suppers; why not grab a bottle from the wine cooler for a well-earned beverage with dinner? Dine inside or set up on the patio to soak up the evening sunshine. The rear patio is enclosed for your dog to rest their paws, whilst you enjoy the far-reaching views across the county and out to sea. Competing the ground floor is a shower room with a shower cubicle to freshen up before bed. Upstairs, six bedrooms await including a family room with a double and single, along with five single rooms; suitable for group holidays, whether that be watersports, golfing or coastal hikes! Start your holiday itinerary with a trip to Bryn Du and Rhosneigr for dinner at Oyster Catcher, takeaway Mexican from Zapatismo, and walking your dog along Traeth Llydan. Clwb Golff Ynys Môn is nearby, but if you prefer the sea, Traeth Crigyll is a popular spot for surfing and walking over sandy dunes. Carry on north to Trearddur Bay for plenty more watersports along Traeth Trearddur, followed by a hearty feast at Sea Shanty Cafe, and Holyhead Golf Club is close by for another game or two with sea views! Visit the town of Holyhead to discover local history at the Maritime Museum, explore more of Anglesey's coastal path, or perhaps you'll fit in a day trip to Dublin from the Old Harbour? There's plenty for wildlife lovers here too; Breakwater Country Park (Parc Gwledig Morglawdd Caergybi) offers wonderful scenes whilst you bird watch, fish along the lake, and follow scenic trails. Carry on the coast for spectacular views at South Stack Lighthouse (Goleudy Ynys Lawd) which offers seasonal engine room tours and exhibitions on a dramatic clifftop. Elsewhere in Anglesey, you'll find Llangefni, Beaumaris and Red Wharf Bay, all worth a visit. For pet-friendly accommodation in Anglesey to suit the adventurous, look no further than Ty Ni Annex.

Llanfaelog is a small settlement on Anglesey's western coast, close to Rhosneig and the major railway line to Holyhead. Llanfaelog has its own church, St Maelog's, which was completed in 1848, as well as a few shops and eateries. Traeth Llydan, a coarse sandy beach backed by sand dunes, as well as Porth Tyn Tywyn beach and the lovely lake of Llyn Maelog, are all close by and both offer lovely waterside walks. Rhosneigr, a prominent seaside village that won the Green Coast Seaside Award for its two sandy beaches and popular watersports centre, is close by.

The twin bedroom requires a new blind to the velux window. Luckily a couple of us had brought eye masks. Sharing one bathroom was manageable and the kitchen was well equipped with plenty of room and good cooking facilities. The view from the kitchen window, across the sheep field to the sea was beautiful and there was an outside seating area although we weren't able to see the view. The front bar area to the property was fun although was didnt really use it. The main living area had plenty and seats and we were able to make ourselves at home although we all wished it was as light as the kitchen, with that sea view. There was plenty of parking to the property and the owners were very welcoming and gave us our space to enjoy our stay. It was value for money. The location was ideal for us too. Thank you!
