Guests consistently praise the '2 Old Mission Hall' cottage for its well-equipped amenities, homely feel, and proximity to Bull Bay. The property is celebrated for its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and the thoughtful touches provided by the owner, Sherri. Families particularly enjoy the games and entertainment options during rainy days, and the welcome pack is frequently mentioned as a delightful surprise.
The property is repeatedly described as clean and tidy, with only one mention of a damp smell and used towels, which seems to be an isolated incident. Overall, the high standard of cleanliness is well noted by guests.
The location is highly praised for its peacefulness and proximity to the coast and local attractions. The scenic walks and wildlife sightings add to the appeal, although the stony and seaweedy nearby beach may not be ideal for all.
Comfort is a strong point for this property, with guests finding the beds and living spaces to be very comfortable. The 'Captain's Quarters' and the upside-down layout are particularly appreciated, although one review mentioned a less accessible shower which could affect comfort for some.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and plenty of entertainment options. However, some guests encountered issues with non-working TVs and a lack of outdoor seating, which suggests room for improvement in maintenance.
The owner's thoughtfulness is frequently highlighted, with special mentions of the welcome pack and personal touches. While these gifts are greatly appreciated, it's important to note that such extras, while common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

Bull Bay, or Porth Llechog in Welsh, which means "sheltered bay", is a picturesque seaside village on the northern coast of the Isle of Anglesey. It is the most northerly village in Wales, and boasts wonderful coastal scenery, with the island of East Mouse lying within the bay, which is rocky, shingly and offers rockpools for shrimping and crabbing. The village has a hotel with restaurant and bar, an excellent golf course, wonderful scenic walks along the renowned Anglesey Coastal Path and exciting fishing and bird watching. 1.5 miles east is the old port of Amlwch, and Parys Mountain, where visitors can enjoy the Copper Mine Trail Walk amidst the old ruins of what was once the world's largest copper mine in the 18th century. The property has a very homely feel and has everything you need and more ! Bedrooms and a bathroom are on the ground floor and there is a spacious lounge/dining area/kitchen on the first floor. Lots of books, DVDâs and jigsaws - we managed to do two while we were there! Loved spending time on the headland watching the porpoises/dolphins and the sunsets. We were fortunate with the weather. Sherri was very accommodating and helpful - thank you ! We will hopefully return again.
