Craig Y Wylan is a well-loved cottage boasting stunning sea views, with frequent wildlife sightings including porpoises and seals. Guests appreciate its tranquil setting, comfortable furnishings, and the thoughtful welcome basket. While some find the cottage quirky and in need of updates, the unique location and the attentive host contribute to memorable stays.
The majority of guests found the property clean and well-presented upon arrival, with only a few isolated comments about specific cleanliness issues such as a smelly dishwasher. The positive remarks on cleanliness far outweigh the negatives.
The location is highly praised for its stunning sea views, wildlife sightings, and proximity to the coastal path. It is described as peaceful, idyllic, and perfect for nature lovers, contributing to a high score.
Guests generally find the beds comfortable and the living areas spacious. However, there are comments about hard beds and the need for extra pillows, suggesting room for improvement in this category.
The property is well-equipped, but several reviews mention the need for maintenance and modernisation, particularly in the bathrooms. Issues with water pressure and the lack of certain amenities like a dryer or parasol are noted.
The welcome basket and the host's check-in message are frequently mentioned and appreciated. However, it is important to note that such gestures, while common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

Everything about the house was as described on the web site and the fact that we had wall to wall sunshine was the icing on the cake. Everything was clean and tidy, the house was very equipped and we felt very relaxed at the end of the week. Thank you.

The views from the cottage were every changing with each tide. The weather was glorious sunshine on several days so we took advantage of the outdoor seating area and garden and secluded cove/beach. The beds were extremely comfortable, lined and towels were good quality. Fixtures and fittings were of a good standard. We were very pleased and had a lovely holiday.
