Guests say

Guests have had a delightful experience at Gwynant - Bull Bay, praising its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and thoughtful touches such as a welcome hamper. The property's location is appreciated for its proximity to coastal paths and local attractions. While some minor maintenance issues were noted, the overall sentiment is that the cottage is a well-equipped and cosy retreat for families and groups, with many expressing a desire to return.

The property generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning the clean and tidy state of the rooms. However, there were isolated comments about dirty bed linen and uncut grass on arrival, slightly affecting the score.

The location is highly praised for its peacefulness, proximity to the coast, and ease of access to local sights. The ability to see dolphins and the convenience for dog walking are particularly appreciated.

Comfort is consistently highlighted, with guests finding the beds and pillows comfortable and the property spacious. The presence of an enclosed garden adds to the comfort for those with pets and children.

Facilities are well-regarded, especially the kitchen equipment and the garden. However, points are deducted for the lack of a toilet upstairs, inadequate bathing facilities for the number of guests, and some missing essentials like a rotary line and non-slip bath mat.

The welcome hamper and other considerate touches are frequently mentioned and appreciated. It should be noted that such gestures, while common, may not be guaranteed for every stay.

8 people and two dogs fitted in well, with downstairs bedrooms perfect for older people and upstairs provided lots of storage room as well as two more bedrooms. The garden was totally enclosed so we were confident that the dogs were safe in the lovely well-kept grassy garden. An welcome box of goodies was very much appreciated.
