Guests say

Ty Gwennol is a highly praised cottage, celebrated for its well-equipped, comfortable, and beautifully furnished interiors. Set in a tranquil, rural location, it offers a peaceful retreat with picturesque surroundings. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful owners, the property's cleanliness, and the thoughtful touches that enhance their stay. While some mention the need for an additional shower, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many looking forward to returning.

The property is consistently described as spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with several reviews highlighting its cleanliness. This suggests a high standard of hygiene and care.

The location is praised for its peacefulness and rural charm, with easy access to local attractions and amenities. However, some guests note the narrow approach roads and the need for a car due to the rural setting.

Guests find the property very comfortable, with high-quality furnishings and a cosy ambience. The presence of underfloor heating and adjustable sofas adds to the comfort, although a few guests mention the double beds could be larger.

The property boasts high-end appliances, thoughtful layout, and additional features like Netflix access. While the facilities are generally excellent, the repeated suggestion for an additional shower indicates room for improvement.

Many reviews mention the thoughtful touches provided by the owners, such as welcome gifts of Welsh cakes and apples from the orchard. While these gestures are highly appreciated, it is noted that such gifts are subject to availability and not guaranteed.

Only minor issue was the fact there was only one shower. Narrow roads on the approach too and from the cottage could be a bit tricky at times. Double beds were on small side but not an issue for us as not booked for full capacity - just to highlight for others considering. Got to meet Tony in the orchard and pinch and apple or two

some decoration needs, Mattresses on double beds not particularly comfortable and pillows in need of changing. Warm and spacious, sufficient equipment well appointed bathrooms and kitchen, large tv. Very narrow roads sometimes with long distances between passing areas. Not within walking distance of any amenities. Red Wharf Bay excellent beach.

Very pleased and accurate pictures / description on website. Owner was helpful when the hot water failed on 2 days. Cottage is well presented and kitted out. Loved the recliner sofa. Minor issues such as the top bedroom door not being able to fully close and also very warm at night compared to lower bedrooms. Garden is okay. No sun in evening and a little unloved. Anglesey is beautiful especially Beaumaris. None of the above would prevent us recommending or staying again.
