Guests say

Malltraeth Cottage is a well-received holiday rental with guests praising its comfortable furnishings, stunning views, and cleanliness. The location is appreciated for its proximity to local attractions and natural beauty. Guests have enjoyed the thoughtful welcome packs and found the property to be a cosy home away from home, despite some noting the need for minor maintenance and updates.

The property is consistently described as clean, with several guests specifically mentioning its cleanliness. However, there were minor issues with ants and a loose stair bannister, which slightly affected the score.

The location is highly praised for its excellent views and convenience to local amenities and attractions. The presence of a nearby building site and public carpark is noted, but does not significantly detract from the overall positive reception of the location.

Guests find the beds very comfortable and the living spaces cosy. Some concerns are raised about low sofas and steep stairs, which could pose challenges for those with mobility issues.

The property is well-equipped according to guests, with a good kitchen and welcome food tray. Points are deducted for maintenance issues such as stiff doors, loose bannisters, and the need for more dishwasher tablets for larger groups.

Guests frequently express appreciation for the welcome packs provided, which add a personal touch to their stay. It is politely noted that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed for every visit.

Lightbulbs blown on arrival obv. not checked. Good to have washing machine tablets handy. Great to have coat/umbrella stand in conservatory as best access from car. Lovely having eggs and butter on arrival. Thankyou.

And we all felt very cosied up as the edge of the hurricane and then storm Lilian rattled through. Thank you so much - we will be back.

We stayed to complete the Coastal Path LDW and it was just right. Beds were comfortable, hadn’t realised when making the booking, that the second bathroom was by the kitchen and the trips in the night to the bathroom, were not helped by the narrow stair case. All in all a great cottage in an excellent location. The pub is across the road which was handy although they do not do food or real ale, however still enjoyed our visits. Would stay again
