About this property

Hen Gilfach Stable is a stable conversion with real flair! Sleeping two, this is a wonderfully romantic holiday cottage nestled in a quiet location on Anglesey. The views are just stunning. The sandy beaches of Church Bay and Cemaes Bay are nearby, as is the Anglesey Coastal Path.

The living space is all open plan and includes the kitchen, and sitting and dining areas. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, extractor hood and fridge with freezer compartment. There is a dinky bistro-style table with two chairs. There’s a contemporary sofa, and wall mounted TV with DVD player.

The pretty bedroom includes a low king sized bed and lovely linen.

A beautiful bright bathroom with a walk in shower. There is also a loo and wash hand basin, of course.

Head outside to find a small decked terrace which has pretty rural views and garden furniture should you want to sit out with your morning cuppa, or drinks in the evening. There is also a small garden opposite the cottage for your individual use. A gravel parking area for one car is opposite.

As well as brilliant beaches, there are also two great places to eat close by. The Anglesey Coastal Path is near to the holiday cottage as are a variety of Anglesey's attractions and activity areas. With a spa bathroom, a romantic hideaway and much to do close by, you’re sure to have a fabulous holiday for a couple on Anglesey at Hen Gilfach Stable.

If you are part of a larger group, you may like to look at nearby Hen Gilfach which sleeps 10.

Set in a lovely tranquil and rural location NW cast of Anglesey. Enjoy the views or take a trip to Church Bay and sample the delights of The Lobster Pot. Cemlyn is accessible via the coastal path and Trearddur Bay with its popular sandy beach is a ten minute drive away. For those who enjoy fishing, there is also a trout fishery at Llyn Llygeirian, which is accessed via an old quarry track.

We were however disappointed with all external facilities. There were no sun loungers, only one garden chair, a second one was in pieces. We asked the owner for a second garden chair and we were provided with a basic folding wooden stand chair. Neither of the chairs were comfortable and so rendered the garden area unsuitable for sitting out. The access to the garden area is down stone steps without a handrail and the whole garden area was overgrown and neglected.

If there was one thing I would change, it would be the TV, it was far too high and we got neck ache watching the football. As we get older it’s quite painful on the neck watching a high TV. Tracey was very responsive when the smoke alarm battery needed changing which was much appreciated Thank you for a lovely stay!
