About this property

Mona Terrace is a charming early 1900s house situated in the picturesque village of Llanfachraeth, near the Anglesey Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Perfect for families or groups of friends, this delightful retreat welcomes two well-behaved pets and offers convenient parking for two cars nearby, a woodburning stove and an enclosed garden. Venture inside this charming abode to discover a well-appointed stylish kitchen, perfect for the designated chef of the group to whip up delicious meals. Adjacent to the kitchen, you will find the living/dining room, a welcoming space where you can gather with your loved ones around the dining table, seating six guests with ease. After dinner, retire to the plush seating area and enjoy a snug evening by the warmth of the woodburning stove, set in the wall beneath a rustic wood mantel, while catching up on your favourite shows on the Smart TV. Also on this floor is a sleek shower room, fitted with a walk-in shower, basin, and WC, perfect for a refreshing morning rinse, and a washing machine and tumble dryer for added convenience to your stay. As the day draws to a close, ascend the stairs to the first floor where you will find a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, both boasting mounted TVs and a striking contrast of black and white furnishings. Also on this floor is the crowning glory of this property the elegant bathroom, featuring a freestanding bath, a basin, a heated towel rail, and an electric mirror, all set against a backdrop of contrasting black and white fittings and a large window allows for an abundance of natural light, creating a serene space for a relaxing soak after a day of exploration. Continue your journey up to the second floor, where a king-size bedroom awaits, complete with a TV and a Velux window that floods the room with natural light. The exposed black beams against the white walls add a touch of character to this room. Outside, an enclosed garden awaits, complete with a lawn, decking, and furniture, providing a serene spot to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening drink under the stars. During your stay at Mona Terrace, numerous local attractions beckon. Venture to the historic town of Caernarfon to explore the iconic Caernarfon Castle, a striking World Heritage site rich in history, offering far-reaching views over the area. For wildlife enthusiasts, a short drive will take you to RSPB Cymru Ynys Lawd, a haven for coastal birds and a unique opportunity to observe nature at its finest. For a more leisurely day, wander through the Penrhos Coastal Park, where you can meander along the scenic woodland pathways, enjoy a picnic with a difference or simply kick back and delight in the calming coastal views. Returning to the comfort of Mona Terrace after a day of exploring the Isle of Anglesey will truly feel like coming home.

Faceby is a village located at the foot of the Cleveland Hills, in the North Western corner of the North York Moors National Park. The characteristics of the village and the surrounding area consist of traditional Yorkshire dry stone walls, hills, woodland, farmland, heather and moorland. The village is close to the ruins of Whorlton Castle. Carlton-in-Cleveland and Faceby have two public houses, The Blackwell Ox and the Sutton Arms. The nearby Gerogian Market Town of Stokesley has all of the shops and amenities needed for a great stay in North Yorkshire.
