Y Wennol is a stone-built, end-terrace barn conversion providing an ideal base for a couple or two friends with plenty of places to visit in the area. You enter this single-storey property via double patio doors into an open plan living area which has a kitchen, dining area and sitting area, as well as high ceilings and exposed beams. From here is the bedroom which has two single beds that can be pushed together to be a super king-size double and next to the bedroom is an en-suite shower room. With off road parking and an enclosed garden, as well as a number of attractions with reach make this a great cottage to stay in at any time of the year. The town of Holyhead is set on the North West coast of the Isle of Anglesey, the largest town on the island and perhaps known best for being the main ferry port to Ireland. Steeped in history, the town has the remains of Roman town walls and forts, a colourful marina, a maritime museum, shops and pubs.

A great place to either sit relax and do nothing or as a base to explore the area. The property totally met or expectations and the owner Gwyneth was a wonderful and welcoming host. Somewhere we would recommend and defiantly visit again.

Stunning views. Owner is available if needed. Lovely welcome tray & freshly laid eggs on tap. Perfect for hubby & I & our 2 German shepherds. Iâve already booked another 3 breaks away there for next year .
