Guests have had a delightful experience at Melody, praising its beautiful decor, comfortable furnishings, and the addition of a hot tub. The property's proximity to the beach and local amenities in Cemaes Bay has been appreciated, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing holiday. While some minor suggestions for improvements were noted, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.
The property consistently receives high praise for its cleanliness, with guests describing it as spotless and well-presented. The attention to cleanliness has been appreciated by guests, contributing to a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The location of the property is highly regarded due to its easy access to the beach, harbour, and village amenities. Guests have enjoyed the quiet, friendly village atmosphere and the convenience of nearby shops and dining options.
Comfort is a highlight, with guests finding the beds super comfy and the living spaces cozy. The property's layout and the provision of multiple bathrooms have been well-received, although a few guests noted a preference for larger beds or twin bed options.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the hot tub and the modern bathroom fittings. However, some guests suggested the addition of more kitchenware, cleaning supplies, and a vacuum cleaner. There were also comments about the need for gates to secure the property for pets, which were addressed during the stay period.
While some guests mentioned receiving welcome gifts such as Welsh cakes and milk, there is not enough consistent information across reviews to score this category accurately. It should be noted that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed for every stay.

However that being said the people in before us had caused damage in the main bathroom meaning we could not use it for the duration of our stay. We were advised by the owner this would be resolved on the Sunday or Monday. The handyman arrived the day before we left on the Friday at an inconvenient time, we therefore advised him to come back the following day as we were checking out. Upon arrival the garden was full of dog poo and poorly maintained and the cleaning of the property was very poor with food and sweets, dead bugs etc underneath sofas and beds. I contacted Sykes on numerous occasions to enquire whether the bathroom was going to be fixed and heard nothing back. We provided photographs and told them about the poor standard of cleaning, overgrown garden, problems with EV charger etc. Ultimately we booked this property as it had 3 bathrooms, EV charger, hot tub etc, however we couldnât use the facilities we required and paid for. Things happen, Needless to say we would not recommend.

It was very well equipped and surprisingly spacious. To be honest we could not fault the property and we would certainly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Cemaes.

The house was gorgeous, ideal for a weekend of catching up and chilling. Caemes Bay is beautiful and ideal for exploring round the costal paths. We would definitely recommend this house.
