Guests say

Cable House in Cemaes Bay is praised for its idyllic location with stunning sea views and proximity to local amenities. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities, comfortable beds, and the added bonus of a games room. The property's charm is noted despite some feedback on creaky floorboards and maintenance issues.

Reviews on cleanliness are mixed, with some guests finding the property immaculate, while others reported it as 'grubby' upon arrival. Issues such as dirty ovens, cobwebs, and dust were mentioned, suggesting room for improvement in cleaning standards.

The location is highly praised for its stunning views of Cemaes Bay, easy access to the beach, and proximity to local shops and pubs. Guests consistently appreciate the picturesque setting and convenient location.

Comfort is generally well-regarded with mentions of clean towels, bedding, and a welcoming atmosphere. However, some guests noted issues with creaky floorboards and the property not being suitable for taller individuals, slightly affecting the comfort score.

Facilities are considered excellent, with a well-equipped kitchen, games room, and quality linen. Some minor issues with TV operation and a lack of DVD player were noted, but overall, guests were satisfied with the amenities provided.

Guests mentioned thoughtful touches such as welcome packs with wine, cake, and milk, which contributed to a positive experience. However, as these gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, they are a delightful bonus rather than a standard offering.

Floor boards very creaky, but you get used to it after a while, there was no bottle opener in the draw which wasn’t good for 1st night as all the drinks we brought required an opener, in the manual it stated to put bins out Tuesday morning to be emptied, they was put out before 8 o’clock at end of the drive and wasn’t emptied, so our bins were very full at the end of our stay, so I don’t know how the next family would get rid of their rubbish. We also had problems with flies downstairs, there was fly spray to use but there was more flies coming in, bit of a pain when we was trying to prepare food, would definitely recommend this place to stay, would return in the future, just hope the flies don’t though x

Everything we needed except for a bottle opener. The floors are very noisy and squeaky but as there was only two of us we coped. We didn't go downstairs or go into the garden. We were able to have breakfast on the balcony. We bought the light weight chairs inside when the wind really picked up. We visited Cemaes bay as Children for many years and now come as adults. We loved the views this lovely house gave us.

Beautiful home well thought out. First impression amazing just needs little tweaks. Bedrooms/bathrooms other than being cold (heating not on) plug in heater ok but yea cold modern well thought out lovely rooms. Living room cold heating only seemed to go up to 18.5 but log fire very easy to use and adequate to heat the large living area. Washroom on 1st floor pink loo n sink never look clean white suite would lift that little washroom immensely. Kitchen/dining area ok. Could not get tv to work. Overall yes lots of stairs and cold but will definitely be back definitely recommend. Photos and description needs updating and as review in August says ?not that dog friendly. We always take our own throws and covers as out little dog does sit with us on the furniture.
