About this property

Awel Mon is a holiday bungalow sitting in the quiet village of Marianglas on Anglesey. You’re less than a mile away from gorgeous Traeth Bychan beach, making it an ideal base for a family seaside holiday. Benllech, with its mini supermarket, places to eat, a pub and shop is also just a short drive away.



The sitting room is a good size with two sofas and an armchair set around a wood burning stove. This makes Awel Mon the ideal holiday bungalow come spring, summer, autumn or winter! There’s a large flat screen TV and DVD player for nights in.



The conservatory, just off the sitting room, has a sofa which you can relax in and have views of the front garden.



The dining area is to the back of the sitting room. It has table and chairs that will seat six comfortably. There are also large windows which let in plenty of light.



The kitchen has a breakfast bar and an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and toaster.

The hallway, in front of a a window overlooking the garden, there’s a chair to sit in for you to read or just relax.This is a great little spot for whiling away a quiet hour with a cuppa!



The large master bedroom has it’s own en-suite shower room which has a large shower cubicle, loo and wash hand basin.The second bedroom is a twin zip/link that can be made into a king on request. There is also a further twin bedroom.



The family bathroom has bath with shower over, loo and wash hand basin.



At the front of the bungalow there’s a lawned and paved area with a drive and parking for up to four cars. At the back of Awel Mon, there’s an enclosed garden with a lawn and a patio area, perfect for sitting out on with your morning cup of tea, or evening nightcap!

As well as Benllech and great beaches being nearby, you can also head towards Moelfre which has Din Lligwy ancient settlement, a burial chamber and the Lifeboat Station. Marianglas, the village in which you’ll find this fab holiday bungalow, has a woodland which has paths you can walk and wildlife including red squirrels. You’ll make happy holiday memories at Awel Mon.

The hamlet of Maam is located in the heart of the part of Connemara known as Joyce Country, near the base of the Maamturk Mountain range, where the Bealanabrack River flows into Lough Corrib. Maam has a welcoming local shop and pub and features a scattering of dwellings typical of this area of Galway. This location is ideal for walkers and hikers to explore the rugged landscape, or why not get on your bike for a different perspective? Nearby attractions include Kylemore Abbey and Ashford Castle, while the town of Clifden is just a short drive away, home to a fantastic range of pubs, shops and eateries and holding a variety of colourful festivals and events throughout the year. With Westport and Galway City also within easy driving distance, and with numerous activities available in the region such as water sports, golf and horse riding, this is a great location for discovering County Galway.
