My brother cut his hand trying to shut the window upstairs as handle snapped in his hand no one responded to this. we also wanted to stay an extra two nights as it wasn’t booked out i msgd before our holiday began and again no one got back to us. sykes cottages took nearly 25 minutes to answer the call and tried to charge us an additional booking fee to our stay. Flooring could do with looking at in the kitchen the adults and children kept tripping on it, and Would be nice for an early check in too but apart from that we loved our stay.

Beds very comfy with lovely bedding. Glad we brought eye masks as the sun does wake you up early, but then we were lucky it was sunny! We did have to buy washing up liquid the day after we arrived but it was our choice not to use the dishwasher. The gardener came to cut the grass, which we didn't know about and made me jump, but we laughed about that. Overall we loved our stay, thank you.

Only small gripe is the lack of a BBQ need to bring your own portable one if planning any al fresco eating
