Guests appreciate the comfortable accommodation, well-equipped with amenities and thoughtful touches like a welcome pack. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the property's cleanliness, spaciousness, and views are consistently lauded, making it a recommended choice for families and pet owners.

The majority of guests found Beach View to be clean and well-maintained, with only a few isolated comments about dampness and worn towels. The property was described as spotless by some, indicating a high standard of cleanliness overall.

The apartment's location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach, local amenities, and scenic views. Despite some comments about a busy road and a steep hill to the beach, the convenience and accessibility are highlighted positively.

Guests generally found the apartment comfortable, with special mentions of comfortable beds and a cosy atmosphere. Some guests, however, noted issues with mattress comfort and a small lounge area, slightly affecting the overall comfort score.

Facilities at Beach View are well-regarded, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and extras like TVs and WiFi. However, some guests reported maintenance issues such as non-working outside lights and a complicated hob, which suggests room for improvement.

Here are all the good points: - convenient location close to local amenities and shops (including the best fish and chip shop on the island - Finneys) - Parking for 2 cars (and really nice neighbours who saw the size of our motability vehicle and offered us an easier space to park in) - Well laid out and comfortable overall - Well equipped kitchen - Warm - Pleasant, helpful owner - Quiet even though it is on the main road (but we were there during term time) - Bed linen good and nice soft furnishings - Property was clean when we arrived - Dog friendly - Easy to negotiate for people with mobility issues (not sure about for those using a wheelchair though) Some things to note though: - Third bedroom is very, very small and has no window. Listing does say it's a child/teenager room but note that it doesn't have anywhere to hang clothes or any sort of bedside table - Outside space isn't really private and is right on the main road, so we didn't feel that comfortable using it - The lounge is much smaller than it looks in the photos - although still ok for 4 adults and a dog - There is a dining table for 4 but it's really not functional because it's up against a wall and there isn't room to leave it out and still access the kitchen properly - lots of chipped crockery (mentioned to the owner) - Could benefit from a set of instruction manuals for the appliances (although the owner did show us how to use the induction hob) - Towels are very worn - but clean - Anti-slip bathmats desperately needed replacing (spoke to owner and he brought new ones for the next guests) - Owner did tell us there had been a damp problem in the main bedroom but we were careful to use the dehumidifier he provided
