Menai Cottage is praised for its picturesque location and well-equipped kitchen, with many guests planning to return. The property offers stunning views, a well-cared-for garden, and is described as peaceful and relaxing. Some guests mentioned minor maintenance issues and a lack of certain amenities, but these did not significantly detract from the overall positive experience.
The majority of guests found the cottage to be clean and tidy, with only a few mentioning areas where cleaning could be improved, such as dust and cobwebs. The general consensus is that the property is well-maintained.
The location is highly praised for its peacefulness, beautiful views of the Menai Straits, and proximity to local attractions. Guests appreciated the quiet setting and the convenience for family outings.
Comfort received mixed reviews. While some guests found the cottage comfortable and well-appointed, others mentioned issues with low and soft sofas, insufficient warmth from duvets, and a lack of towels. However, the beds were generally found to be comfy.
Facilities were adequate but several guests noted the absence of a dishwasher and issues with plugs and sockets. Maintenance concerns such as leaky taps and non-functioning locks were mentioned, suggesting room for improvement.
Guests appreciated the provision of essentials and a welcome touch of milk and biscuits, although it's noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be consistently provided. Some feedback suggested the need for more tea towels and better recycling facilities.

Just one suggestion, the Wi-Fi signal does not extend to the bedrooms. Installation of a WiFi booster to overcome this, would be an advantage.

We would love to return next year.

A little more attention to cleaning would be good though, pockets of dust, cobwebs, in bedrooms. But , we did generally really like the place.
