Guests say

Guests consistently praise The Granary for its welcoming hosts, Helen and Rick, and its tranquil, rural setting ideal for exploring Anglesey. The property is noted for its cleanliness, comfort, and well-equipped facilities, including an EV charger. The charming cottage offers a restful stay with lovely gardens and wildlife, though the low beams may require some mindfulness.

Reviewers frequently mention the property's spotless condition, indicating a high level of cleanliness that contributes to a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The property's central location on Anglesey is appreciated for its convenience to local attractions and its peaceful rural setting, making it a prime spot for sightseeing and relaxation.

The accommodation is described as cosy and comfortable, with effective heating and a comfortable bed. However, the mention of low beams suggests that taller guests may need to be cautious.

Facilities are well-regarded, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen, clean and cosy accommodation, and the provision of an electric vehicle charger. Some guests felt the space might be snug for larger parties.

Hosts are commended for their thoughtfulness, including welcome packs and home-grown produce. While these gestures are highly appreciated, it's noted that such personal touches, though delightful, are not guaranteed for every stay.

The summerhouse, pond and woodland were lovely… The central location of the property meant it was easy to access all corners of Anglesey easily. Hosts Nick snd Helen were excellent.

As the accommodation is in the attic there are low beams and the slope of the roof so be aware that a bumped head is always a possibility. It didn't bother us at all, it all adds to the quaintness of the property. Everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Helen the owner had left a welcome pack in the kitchen with tea bags, coffee, biscuits etc. There was a folder on the dining table with loads of information on the island, good beaches, local amenities and places to visit. All the rubbish is segregated for disposal or recycling hence there are 3 bins in the kitchen for the different types of refuse. Each property has it's own parking bay and we noticed that there was at least one EV charging point. The property is a little remote, very dark and quiet on a night but that suits us just fine. We can certainly recommend the granary to anyone who likes to get away from the busier areas of Anglesey.
