I swept up when we arrived and have a photo of the pile of dirt & dog hair. Totally unacceptable. We found our clothes covered in dog hairs from the furniture all weekend and with young children did not want them crawling on such dirty floors, they hadn’t been swept let alone mopped. Very disappointing when the house was lovely, hugely let down by the disgraceful state of the floor.

Arrival was 6pm and we called needing to know the whereabouts of the travel cot that was listed. After 20 minutes wait Sykes wouldn’t take the call from my daughter in law (mother of the baby) as she hadn’t made the booking, so I had to call back and have the 20 minute wait. Raffy was then not able to give any useful information so left us with baby at bedtime with no cot. Nobody called back to shed light on the issue. I had to source a cot locally. Not the home owners fault but very disappointing agent support.

Lovely location, quiet, near coastal path, garden. Wow factor. Perfect for our family. For Sykes only I managed to speak to Max at Sykes on day we arrived and he was really helpful to extend our departure time. I tried to extend it from 9am for about a month, but it was very hard to contact Sykes by email, call etc as everything went back to FAQs online not a person. I really appreciate the help to extend checkout time - it made our holiday.
